Since 1994, Bob Riddick and his dedicated crew have excelled in all forms of residential roofing including new construction, repairs, and replacements. Their continued success in the market garnered the reputation as local experts in standing seam metal, slate, tile, cedar shake, and architectural shingles within the Smith Mountain Lake and surrounding communities.
Bob Riddick began his career in the fall of 1974 while living in northern Virginia. For Bob, it was love at first sight and he has been a master of the trade ever since.
While working in Warrenton, Virginia in the 1980’s, Bob learned old-school installation techniques of standing seam metal roofing, as well as slate and tile.
Bob brought his craft to Smith Mountain Lake in the spring of 1991. In the years that followed, he worked hard to establish his business and built the company’s reputation as one of the best in the area.
As the name has spread and the business has grown, Bob Riddick Roofing, Inc. has had the great fortune of recruiting and training a team of talented young individuals that share Bob’s “Do Unto Others” philosophy and his enthusiasm and passion for the trade.
