Several years ago, while doing maintenance work at Resurrection Catholic
Church a leak developed in the roof of our worship area. Several roofing
companies tried to fix the issues, but they were all unsuccessful. A final
phone call to Bob Riddick and his home service team and BAM the issue was
fixed. Bob identified the problem and fixed it quickly. Over the next several
years we had other minor roof issues but always went back to Bob and his
team. After storms Bob would come and check on the roof and occasionally
would find shingles missing, he would fix them at no cost and checked on the
roof without us even calling him. Several years of wear and tear was causing
the roof to deteriorate and it had a great deal of discoloration due to fungus
and mildew buildup. Rather than replacing the roof Bob recommended using
a SoftWash Systems to prolong the life of the roof. With all of Bob’s
experience, he estimated we could get another 5 years of life with the current
roof. Here we are 4 years later and we still have no discoloration and it looks
great.
When I saw what Bob could do for the church roof, I knew who to call when I
developed a leak on my roof at home. The leak developed on the roof due to
a misapplication of the flashing around the chimney by the original roofer.
Then in 2012, when the huge hail storm hit I called Bob again about
replacing the whole roof. His response was prompt and competitive, his
home service crew replaced the shingles in one in a half days. The roof, the
cleanup, the speed it was like nothing ever happened.
In all my workings with Riddick Home Service, I have found them to be very
professional and knowledgeable. The employees are well trained, polite on
the job, and stick to a time limit. They find the problems quickly and
immediately go to work on the solution. They are more than a roofing
company. They are our neighbors and our friends who take pride in their
work and what they do for their customers. The equipment is well
maintained and on every job site, they make a great impression. The office
personnel is friendly and the billing procedure is very easy and makes doing
business very simple.
From a community standpoint, Bob supports many charitable activities
around the Lake. He has been a Gold Sponsor of the Holy Strokes golf
tournament for several years; this event gives all the profits to those most in
need in the SML area. Without selfless companies like Riddick Home Services,
we would not be able to reach as many people in need.
Having confidence in those you contract has a value and is hard to measure.
